Pestalozzi Village on the Run at Hastings

Team Pestalozzi is on the run!
Team Pestalozzi, a running club made up of students, volunteers, staff and a trustee of the Pestalozzi International Village Trust charity, are training every Saturday morning to prepare for the Hastings Half-Marathon on 20 March, 2011.
Team Pestalozzi is running to raise valuable funds and awareness for Pestalozzi, a local charity that gives scholarships to students from developing countries to come to England to study, experience British culture and participate in various activities and volunteer work.
Debbie Martin, Marketing Officer, said “Team Pestalozzi having been training really hard. To kick start their fundraising efforts, they will be holding a raffle at Pestalozzi’s International Celebration on March 5th, an annual event celebrating our students and their diverse cultures.”
Claire Mulry, Pestalozzi’s alumni coordinator and team coach, went on to say “We are overwhelmed by the generous support of the local community. P.A. Fisher & Sons, Catering Butchers in Hastings & St Leonards-on-Sea, has sponsored t-shirts for the team to train and race in. La Collina Garden, Hair De-zign, Pasta Pasta, The Clockhouse, The Brickwall Hotel, Abel & Cole and Cadburys have all donated fantastic raffle prizes.”

Race Numbers and full information will start to be sent to entrants on 15th February, and thereafter weekly until,last posting on 16th March. Entries received after 14th March will have to be collected on Race Morning.
To make sure that your name is in the Official Race Programme,your entry must be received by 10th March.
